1) Terms of Use (Website & App)
Acceptance
Using our website, mobile app, or services (the “Platform”) means you accept these Terms of Use and the
Privacy Policy, Terms of Sale, Warranty & Repairs Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns &
Refunds Policy, Installation & Service Policy, and Subscription Terms (collectively, the “Policies”). If you
do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Eligibility & Account
You are 18+ and legally capable of contracting.
Keep credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
We may suspend/terminate access for breach, fraud, or abuse.
App License (Android; iOS coming soon)
Limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the Water Relief app with compatible Water
Relief devices. No reverse engineering or security bypass. Do not use with unsafe/non‑compatible
devices.
User Content & Feedback
You own your content (e.g., reviews) but grant us a perpetual, royalty‑free license to use it to
operate/improve the Platform.
Prohibited Use
No unlawful, harmful, harassing, deceptive, infringing, or security testing without permission; no
scraping/automation.
Intellectual Property
Trademarks, logos, firmware, docs, and site content are owned by us or our licensors; do not use
without written permission.
Third‑Party Links/Services
We are not responsible for third‑party sites, couriers, payment gateways, app stores, or external
plumbing/electrical partners.
Disclaimers & Liability Cap
Platform is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied
warranties. Our aggregate liability is capped at what you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing excludes liability for death/personal injury due to negligence or fraud.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your misuse or breach of these Policies.
Governing Law & Disputes
Laws of India. Exclusive jurisdiction: courts at Faridabad/New Delhi (subject to mandatory consumer
law). Contact support@waterrelief.in for amicable resolution first.
Changes
We may update Policies; continued use after posting equals acceptance. Material changes will be
notified on the site/app.
2) Terms of Sale (Devices, Sensors, Cables & Paid Services)
Offer & Acceptance
Orders placed via our site/app or authorized channels are offers to purchase. Acceptance occurs on
dispatch or installation confirmation.
Prices, Taxes & Payments
Prices shown in INR; GST per checkout.
Three‑part payment (Trial plan):
1) Booking: ₹300
2) Payment at Installation: ₹1,700
3) Decision within 30 days from installation:
If satisfied: pay ₹8,470 to complete purchase (total = ₹10,470; ₹2,000 already paid).
If not satisfied: No‑questions‑asked return with full refund of amounts paid to original source,
post pickup/receipt & QC.
Straight buy (no trial): upfront price ₹10,070.
Trial then buy: effective price ₹10,470.
Payments accepted: UPI/cards/wallets/EMI (where enabled). Gateway terms apply.
Eligibility & Site Conditions
Customer ensures safe earthing, pump rating suitability, accessible tanks/valves, and necessary
premises permissions. Unsafe sites may be refused or rescheduled with additional charges.
Title & Risk
Title passes on full payment (straight buy) or on completion of the trial purchase. Risk passes on
delivery/installation; for courier, on delivery scan.
Sensors & Cables
Included: Controller unit + Sensor + 40 m cable (included).
Extras billed at actuals: additional cable lengths, conduits, motorized valves, contactors, or
plumbing materials if required.
Visit/Service Charges
On‑site visits/installs are chargeable as per rate card unless covered by a promotion. Re‑visits due
to customer unavailability/inaccessible site may be chargeable.
Fraud & Order Review
We may refuse/cancel for errors, suspected fraud/abuse, or regulatory restrictions. Refunds for
cancellations go to original source.
3) 30‑Day Trial — No‑Questions‑Asked Return
Trial Window
Eligible devices may be tried for 30 days from installation/delivery (day 1 = installation day).
Return Condition
30‑day, no‑questions‑asked return on all products during the trial.
Returns must be free of physical/electrical damage. Original box preferred but not mandatory;
normal installation marks acceptable.
Refunds under Trial
Booking (₹300) and installation (₹1,700) are fully refundable when you return within the 30‑day
trial.
Refunds are processed to the original payment source within 5–10 business days after QC.
Trial Exclusions
Customized builds, special‑order cable lengths, or commercial bulk installs may be excluded or incur
a restocking fee when disclosed upfront.
4) Shipping & Delivery Policy
Coverage & Modes
Hybrid fulfilment: On‑site installation in service PIN codes; courier dispatch elsewhere with
guided self‑install (app/videos).
Cash on Delivery: Not available.
Timelines
Courier dispatch: within 2–3 business days; transit 3–7 business days.
On‑site installation (service PINs): scheduled within 3 days of order confirmation.
Tracking & Delivery Attempts
Tracking via email/SMS/WhatsApp. Couriers typically attempt 1–3 deliveries; missed/incorrect
addresses may incur reship charges.
Loss/Damage in Transit
If parcel appears tampered/damaged, refuse delivery and contact us within 48 hours with photos/
video to initiate a courier claim.
5) Installation & Service Policy
Scope
Standard installation includes: mounting the controller, installing sensors inside the water tank,
and connecting included cabling (up to 40 m).
Chargeable: extra cabling, conduits, civil work, motorized valves, relays/contactors, plumbing/
fittings.
Site Readiness
Provide safe ladder access, powered outlets, tank openings, isolation valves, and proper earthing.
We do not cut civil structures without written consent.
Visit Charges (Rate Card)
Standard service visit (non‑installation): ₹400.
Extra cable: ₹15/m beyond included 40 m.
Re‑visits due to customer no‑show/inaccessibility may be charged.
Demonstration & Handover
Demonstration via the Water Relief Android app, video guides, and in‑box documentation. Customer
OTP/signature confirms handover.
6) Warranty & Repairs Policy
Standard Warranty
1‑year on‑site warranty in service PIN codes; outside these, carry‑in/courier warranty (we cover
the return leg after repair). Warranty begins on the date of registration (website/app).
Coverage
Manufacturing defects in controller PCB, enclosure, and official sensors. Excludes damage from
misuse, incorrect wiring, lightning/surge, pests, water ingress beyond IP rating, corrosion, acts of
God, or unauthorized repairs.
Consumables/Exclusions
Cables are not covered under warranty. Third‑party contactors, motorized valves, and plumbing
fittings are excluded unless separately warranted.
Proof & Process
Provide invoice/serial number and issue photos/videos. We may triage via phone/WhatsApp. For
courier warranty, ship suitably packed; we repair/replace and return.
Extended Warranty
Add‑on 1‑year warranty at the time of installation for ₹500 (mirrors base warranty terms).
Repairs Out‑of‑Warranty
We repair if possible and share an estimate for approval. Diagnostic fees and two‑way shipping
apply. If unrepairable, we may offer buy‑back/upgrade discounts.
Support Commitment
5 years of parts/service support from purchase date.
For total loss due to electrical/physical damage (outside warranty), we offer options: paid repair
or discounted replacement/upgrade under the 5‑year support program.
AMC (Annual Maintenance)
AMC available up to 5 years from purchase in eligible PIN codes; scope includes preventive checks
and priority support. Pricing/inclusions published per region; contact support for your PIN code.
